Museum Ice Cream Social
In conjunction with American 250, the Jones Museum hosted
an ice cream social fundraiser on Saturday, July 4th, 2026. The event featured local ice cream, homemade pies, entertainment, and the opening of our America 250 exhibit, titled “Local History and America 250: Jackson County’s Place in American History.”
Despite soaring temperatures, the event was a success, and we would like to thank the sponsors and attendees who made it possible.
Thank you to Michael’s Ice Cream for donating ice cream and for providing their refrigerated cart for our social.
Thanks to the Jackson Area Family Activity Center for providing their tables, chairs, and pop-tents for our social.
Thanks to the Stockmeisters for letting the museum use their tent for our social.
